  1. The insects look delicious, though I’ll admit the water bugs would be a challenge. But I’d sooner order up a nice cone of those mealworms than get anywhere near the nestling birds. Speaking of which, what is the market for owls? Do people fly them like falcons in Thailand?

      • Owls are not traditionally used in Western falconry; they’re believed to have an attention span problem. It would be interesting to know how the Thais fly them, if they do.
